About Destroy Website
Destroy Website is a free browser game that turns web pages into destructible levels. You paste a URL, pick a built-in target or use a bookmarklet, then fly around with a jetpack and blow the page apart with seven weapons. It has a 60-second score challenge, a sandbox mode and shareable score links.
Why it exists
Websites are everywhere, and sometimes they are annoying. This game gives you a harmless outlet. Smashing a cookie banner or a bloated landing page with a rocket is oddly satisfying, and it makes for a quick break between tasks.
An independent project
Destroy Website is an independent, fan-made take on a long-running idea. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to "Kick Ass – Destroy the web", Sprite Fusion's "Destroy Any Website", Desktop Destroyer or any other game. The code, art and design are our own, and we don't use anyone else's logos. If you want to see how we compare, we wrote an honest comparison of similar games.
Safety
Destroy Website is a harmless visual game. Nothing happens to the real website: we never hack, attack, overload or change any site. All destruction is drawn locally in your own browser.
In URL mode our server downloads a public page once and returns only text, headings and image addresses, never scripts or styles from the page. Images load directly in your browser from the original site. Details are in the privacy policy.
